ROLE DESCRIPTION
What's the position?
Operational Secretary. You are a master transmuter across the entire company. You will assist with the operational aspects of GetBaked to ensure the business is operating harmoniously in all of its sectors. Whether it be communications, Proofreading, curating documents, or ensuring everyone within the company is maintaining alignment with oneness, the mission statement and with all goals/tasks in place.
- Team Coordination/Development
- Curation, Proofreading, and editing at the request of the CEOO.
- Ensuring all Documents are up to date and in alignment with the company's mission.
- CEOO Weekly Support
You will be joining as the Operational Secretary to the CEOO. This is an opportunity to be part of the founding team, working closely with the CEOO to help GetBaked scale through our next phase of growth.
You will be singularly responsible for:
- Managing Documents : Assist in any preparation, review, and distribution of documents related to the company as requested by the CEOO.
- Conducting research and analysis as requested by the CEO.
- Preparing communications, presentations, and other documents for the CEO.
- Coordinating company meetings, events and activities as directed by the CEOO.
- Providing general administrative support to the CEOO and other members of the team needed.
You will be involved, or collaborating with the CEOO on:
- Scheduling and company communications
- Product roadmap & budgets
- Human resources & fluidity assistance
- Other internal projects as needed
Impact Plan for this Role
Within 1 month, you'll...
- Take control of the company’s primary accounts and begin triaging communications.
- Complete your first several projects researching tools for the CEOO as needed.
- Audit current processes at GetBaked and report on opportunities for improvements.
- Develop an initial backlog of tasks to aid the CEOO in her duties.
Within 3 months, you'll...
- Research processes & tools to help with organizational health & efficiency.
- Implement new processes and tools as necessary.
- Develop a prospective backlog of prioritized tasks to aid the CEOO in her duties.
- Plan your first company event/seminar.
- Work with our CEOO to identify 1-2 key administrative needs you can fulfill in a larger context.

Some things you’re already accustomed to;
- Software: Experience with a wide range of software commonly used in tech companies (we use Todoist, Shopify, Publer, all social media platforms, Google Suite, Canva, and Capcut). Staying on top of new tools and helping our team do the same is important!
- Organization: Experience and passion for bringing order to chaos (we're not really that chaotic - but you know what we mean 😅).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prioritization: Ability to work with deadlines, and to adapt to evolving priorities. Ability to direct your attention to the most important problems when needed.
- Wellbeing: We're working with the industry of health and wellness - we love it when our team is passionate about health, too!
- Experience: In business, whether for yourself or under someone else’s company.
What are the responsibilities?
If you're chosen to join our team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the CEOO from an early stage in a well-supported company. You will be driving high level decisions across our teams, with a fair amount of hands-on opportunities to support products that actually help people lead healthier, happier lives.
You’ll be responsible for being an ongoing member of the team for a 4 month term. After the term is complete an Evaluation Conference is conducted to go over our experience together and reflect. If we both agree that this arrangement is in alignment then we’ll have you for another term.
Scheduling GetBaked Works on a Term/Seasonal basis. This breaks down our year into 3 separate sectors. Rising Term (March - June) Noon Term (July - Oct) and the Night Term (Nov - Feb)
If chosen for this role, you will be onboarded for the Rising - Noon Term.
Work schedule will be on a weekly basis. This is flexible and can cater to your availability.
